About Villa Marina
Villa Marina is a modestly sized bed and breakfast with just ten rooms, giving it a homely, personal feel rather than the anonymous scale of a large hotel. Set on Northstead Manor Drive in Scarborough, it makes a straightforward base for exploring the town's north side, within easy reach of Peasholm Park and the open-air theatre, as well as Scarborough Castle.
Rooms are kept spotless and are decorated with care, with comfortable beds a particular strength. Breakfast is a highlight, with a generous spread served each morning, and the on-site restaurant and bar mean guests need not venture out for every meal. A garden offers a spot to sit outside, while free WiFi and luggage storage cover the practical basics, and parking is available for those arriving by car.
The atmosphere is shaped by staff who are attentive and welcoming, keeping things relaxed rather than formal. It suits visitors planning to spend time at Peasholm Park or catching a show at the open-air theatre, both within easy striking distance, with the wider attractions of Scarborough close by too.
What guests say
What a beautiful stay we had! Firstly, we were welcomed by Richard and Donna who couldn’t do enough for us, and were so welcoming. The rooms were spotless and had everything and more we needed in them. The beds were super comfy and we had a great nights sleep. The location was perfect, with many things to do within a 5 minute walking distance (the Open air theatre and Peasholm Park were literally on our doorstep). We did grab a cheap taxi to head to the Centre, however it’s definitely walkable. We also had breakfast in the morning which was so tasty and a fabulous value for money. There was the option of a delicious cooked breakfast, fruits, yogurt, cereals- everything were amazing and Richard’s poached eggs were a 10/10 if I do say so! And of course, the beautiful Nellie was very welcoming too🐶💞 I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough: great location, amazing owners and beautiful rooms. We will definitely be returning! 😃❤️

Fantastic guest house. Our hosts Richard and Donna made us so welcome and relaxed, Richard's breakfast's are to die for. Very clean and well maintained with all the facilities you would ever need. Lovely seating area in the front garden and it's only a few hundred yards from the open air theatre which was perfect. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Just had a weekend stay at Villa Marina. The hosts Donna and Richard were amazing. We cannot thank them enough for their warm friendly welcome. Our room was large and beautifully decorated and impeccably clean with all home comforts provided. Bonus, overlooking the mini golf at Peasholm Park. Just a 5 minute stroll to Scarborough's Open Air Theatre and beach front. Breakfast if you want it for a extra charge and was so delicious and plentiful. We can't wait to book again. Xxxx
