Coldstream and the wider Scottish Borders sit within reach of the Northumberland coast, historic market towns like Kelso, Melrose and Hawick, and rolling countryside made for walking. Little Swinton – Garden Cottage is positioned to use any of these as a base for day trips, or simply as a quiet place to return to at the end of them.
The cottage itself is on one level throughout. You get a living room with a sofa bed, a separate kitchen and dining space with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, two bedrooms – one with a king bed and one single – and a bathroom with both bath and shower plus an extra separate toilet. Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are included, along with Wi-Fi and a welcome pack. There is private parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with seating outside.
One dog can stay at no extra cost. The cottage does not allow smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.

Very comfortable, clean and well located for open homes ruined abbeys. Plenty of local eating places and visits of interest. Any problems sorted out immediately
