Chloe is one of two newly built log cabins in a quiet rural setting roughly five miles from Duns. Couples and small families will find it works well as a self-contained base—the whole property is yours alone, and everything sits on the ground floor. The open-plan living space brings together a sitting area with Freeview TV, a dining zone and a kitchen where you can prepare full meals. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. There is one shower room. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered.
Outside, a decked area with garden furniture and sitting space overlooks the surrounding countryside. You have private parking on site. The location suits walkers and history buffs equally—Duns Castle Nature Reserve and various footpaths are nearby, while Manderston House, Paxton House and Duns Castle itself offer a sense of local heritage. The coast at St Abbs is under twenty minutes away by car. Berwick railway station, just over half an hour's drive, connects to Edinburgh. Smoking is not permitted.

well equipped and comfortable lodge, very remote in their setting and great position for getting out and about in the area. Jimmy the rook is a character with 6:45 knock on the window and his antics with the front doormat and other wildlife, owls, deer and birds all added to the experience. Just a couple of things need updating with the Cabin information I.e. posters on WiFi code, bed too hard for me and need to have a think about what customers expect these days with welcome pack and the basics (washing up liquid, Soap, toilet rolls) or is that me being picky 😏? Overall though a great few days thank you.

Just started our holiday in the lodge and it is lovely. Well equipped and in a quiet place.

Had a lovely week. In a very quiet location, so would not suit everyone. But spacious and clean, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, big shower, lots of hot water. We didn't need the heating but I am sure it would be good too.
