Lovely well looked after site as stated on other reviews showers are dodgy and taps need some work, I got drenched everytime I washed my hands, We like dogs had 1 for 18 years. This site should be for dogs only every van near us had barking dogs, 3 had dogs so the peace and quiet was broken everytime someone moved, they barked there were only 5 touring vans all others are on yearly pitches. We won't be back as it looks set up for dog owners.

We’ve been here 2 years now and it’s our own little piece of heaven. Two great pubs in the village, one by the river and one up the mountain. Fabulous walks for dogs around. Normanby Hall on the doorstep, all in all it’s just about perfect.

We absolutely love this site, not very far from home but once you are there it is so peaceful, you could be absolutely anywhere! Clean facilities, lovely hot showers 🚿, very helpful managers & a stones throw away from one of the two pubs , perfect!

Stayed here for 3 night recently, the grounds are kept reasonable , the 4 acre dog field that was advertised is now full of static caravans and most of the touring pitches are taken by seasonal vans , which most were vacant while we were there . How they think the facility block is five star is beyond me , not immaculate, having a shower was more like a form of torture, it's a push button shower that last approximately 3seconds and you are blasted with red hot water and no room to get out of the way . It was so hot I couldn't wash my face or my hair . The price does not reflect on the facilities provided The small area provided for dogs has a list of rules on the gate that are just ridiculous, see photos . We are adults so please treat us like one !!
