Tucked into the north Lincolnshire village of Alkborough, this working farm offers a handful of luxury glamping pods within easy reach of wetland trails and riverside scenery where the Humber, Ouse and Trent converge. Alkborough Flats nature reserve lies a 35-minute walk away – prime territory for birdwatching or quiet cycling – while Normanby Hall's Regency grounds are ten minutes off, home to a Go Ape course and golf if you fancy something more adventurous.
The on-site tearoom keeps you fuelled between outings, and a few local restaurants plus a farm shop sit within a short drive for barbecue supplies or evening meals. Dogs are welcome year-round, so four-legged friends can join the countryside rambles.
With only a handful of pitches, the place keeps a peaceful, small-scale feel – though that intimacy means facilities stay fairly simple. Hull is 40 minutes away if you need a bigger town, but the real draw here is slowing down among working-farm rhythms and the wide, watery landscape all around.

Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights, accommodation was lovely, clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and a comfy bed! Was nice to see the animals on the farm. Good location and only a 10 min drive into town and from Normanby Hall & Alkborough Flats Nature Reserve. A peaceful weekend and Gav was always on site in case we needed him! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Amazing 2 night stay with family. Our kids loved seeing the animals on the working farm and Mark and Gavin were perfect hosts making sure our experience was first class. The on site Tea Room serves delicious breakfasts, snacks and cake! Highly recommend College Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

Stayed in the glamping pod for two nights my parents had the pod next door everything we could of asked for very clean beds were very comfortable wanted to take it home same with the pillows. Very quiet throughout the night can't wait to go back again. The owners very nice and accommodating.
