Having read previous reviews, I was slightly dubious about my decision to book. I need not have worried. Rooms, staff, location and ambiance were excellent. The staff were espicially welcoming and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.

There was hair and dust all over our bed, even though we'd just checked into the room. When we asked to have the room cleaned again, they agreed and provided us with cocktails, for which we were very grateful. But when we returned to the newly cleaned room, we still found hair in our bed. It definitely wasn't ours (ours are long and dyed). It was very unpleasant. I don't know how they wash their bedding, but they clearly need to reconsider their methods.

Loved the experience so welcoming, and the stay was very comfortable. Rooms are classic in design all dark wood, so not modern. Great lighting, bed super comfy good night sleep. One issue is that the restaurant is expensive, so I suggest eating elsewhere.
