What diners say
I’d heard about Beigel Bake on Brick Lane for years, so I finally went with some friends late at night. It’s great that they’re open 24 hours, making it the perfect spot for a late-night bite. We ordered the onion bhaji, the chicken bagel, and a couple of desserts (I’ve forgotten their names), and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, tasty, and definitely lived up to the hype. The service was quick despite how busy it was. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great late-night meal in London!

The salt beef bagel here is absolutely delicious. The meat is always fresh, hot, and incredibly tender. It pairs perfectly with the pickles, which balance the richness of the beef really well. Every time I come here there’s a long queue, which honestly says a lot about how popular this place is. The bagel itself is slightly chewy, but the quality of the salt beef inside more than makes up for it. Definitely worth the wait if you’re craving a proper salt beef bagel 👍🏼

Very good bagels! Especially the Salt Beef Sandwich, that's the way to go. I also tried Smoked Salmon & Cheese and a Cookie to get a sense for their other products. The Salt Beef itself is 5/5 stars, fantastic, absolutely amazing meat. I'd come back for that. The Salmon was good. The cookie was okay. No problem tho, as it costs less. Recommended

I’m usually not a big fan of bagels, but this place genuinely surprised me. Tourist-famous spots are often overrated, yet this one really delivers — both in taste and value for money. The bagels are incredibly fresh; you can actually watch them preparing the next batch right in front of you, which makes a big difference. I’d recommend skipping the cheaper options like tuna and going straight for the classics — the salt beef or the salmon with cream cheese. Both were excellent. The salt beef is slightly pricier, but they give a very generous portion, which makes it worth it. The texture was perfect: chewy bagel, flavorful beef with a hint of salt, and just the right touch of mustard to balance everything. Really satisfying. Highly recommended if you’re a bagel fan — and honestly, even if you’re not. I wasn’t one before coming here, and I still loved it. No wonder they’ve stayed famous for so many years.
