Finally got to try this after year and years. The chicken and coconut soup was great, definitely needed some additional Balanchung. This tasted exactly like that my mum used to make. Was so excited about the desserts but they hot the mark a bit. Crème brûlée was too dense and didn’t match with the sago pearls. The flavours of the dessert should swap! Light airy pandan mousse with the dough sticks and milk tea brûlée 😋 Flatbread was just a paratha with bland dhal but the chicken and salad was so good!

Loved our eating experience in LAHPET, Bold, exciting, and packed with incredible flavours. We kicked things off with the Mutton Shoulder & Kidney Bean Fritters crispy outside, soft and flavourful inside and the Fried Chicken glazed with kaffir lime, jaggery, and tamarind, giving the perfect sweet, salty, tangy, umami hit. For mains, we went for the Duck Curry and the Chickpea Tofu Noodle Bowl, both packed with rich, aromatic flavours. We finished with the Pandan Coconut Crème Brûlée, and it was absolutely heavenly. If you want to try Burmese food this is the spot shout out to Malavika our waitress she was so lovely and made the whole dining experience worth while.

You can have a conversation here without shouting. This is one of the too few restaurants in London where, even when busy, you can easily talk at your table without needing to shout. Noise from other diners is nicely broken up by divides & a U shaped layout. You can be a celiac here. Gluten free options are plentiful. Dishes are flavoursome, not overly hot or spicy. The flavours are stimulating & pleasurable, curry heat is very mild.

Delicious! Recommend the coconut chicken noodle dish! So flavourful and not spicy! The pandan creme brulle was to die for and our server was attentive, friendly and super knowledgeable. Highly recommend !
