What diners say
Walked for hours in Brick Lane and came by for some tequila. We grabbed a table in the open area and ordered a few spicy margarita at the drink hut. The drink was basically pre-mixed and it was very good with a spicy kick.

Had the most amazing night at Ninety One watching Jemima and the house band - everyone at the venue was AMAZING, especially Leah - so professional and so kind - she went above and beyond to make our night great. Also great chicken wings. Couldn’t recommend more 🎉

Had a terrible experience with rude and nasty staff member that honestly might be the last time i ever come here. This was one my favorite little spots i found that had the best house fries ever. I rave about this place to all my friends and bring them anytime im in london which is quite often. I checked online to see if they were open, the door towards the interior dining tables and state was open and there was the sound guy doing cables (we’ve seen him before so didn’t think anything of it.) we walked in and I asked if we were able to get a table inside or if the kitchen was open yet (we were there around 3:30pm/kitchen opens around 4pm) The girl rudely said “we’re closed” and then as we apologized because online it said they were open she shouted at the sound guy and said “make sure to close the door when they leave” then started loudly scoffing to her coworkers that we were just customers who snuck in as if we inconvenienced her. We hadn’t even turned towards to hallway to leave and she was already complaining about us to her coworkers. mind you the door was open and when we walked past the sound guy, no one said anything. not to mention the way she spoke to him as if it was his fault customers came in, meanwhile the google listing said they were open. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because she didn’t mention why they were closed, i had figured maybe she meant the kitchen was closed and sat down outside waiting until we saw other customers go inside and get turned away ONLY to overhear another staff member apologize and say they were closed for a private event. I really loved the fries here so disappointed overall but no fries are worth that sort of treatment. As someone who works in hospitality as a bartender nonetheless, it was truly nasty to see another service worker be so rude and short when all she had to do was mention that there was a private event. We only found out because we overheard it from customers being turned away and even then it’s not an excuse to shout and speak to customers that way.

Great pub for watching the football! Snacks and food available - Emma was serving people nonstop during the match and after and she was absolutely amazing! Everytime our drinks were running low she was there ready to serve us another with a smile! We will be back 100%
