Hamperley Campsite

Great campsite, owner was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area when he came to collect the fee. Field is flat so easy to find a good spot to set up. There's a drinking water tap, toilets, recycling bins and hot water to wash up with. Showers are available for £1. The adjacent woodland was lovely to walk through in the morning. Will stop again.

Very quiet campsite. The ground is flat and grass at the edges is relatively short. There are two showers (£1 coins needed), two toilets, one sign to wash your dishes and one and another one to wash your hands etc. Only minus was lack of any soap but not a major issue. Very friendly and polite owner.

Great little campsite with easy access to the long mynd by foot via a couple of miles of forestry track. Good facilities including drinking water and a shower block with toilets, kitchen sink and coin operated showers, all kept very clean. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable about local area and wildlife, very kind people. I stayed for four nights on foot and would also recommend the lovely walk through Minton to the local pub and village at little stretton. The campsite is in a very quiet and peaceful location surrounded by farm land and on a clear night stars are visible. There is also access to a small woodland with a lovely short circular walk and picnic bench.

Lovely quiet campsite tucked away. Good flat field. Amenities were good enough and reasonable rates. I would return when I revisit the Chruch Stretton area.
