Cow Shed is a single-storey converted barn in the hamlet of Bitterley, at the foot of Clee Hill. The whole property is yours for the stay—two bedrooms with en-suites, arranged on one open ground floor with shared access to a spacious living and dining area. Original beams and wooden floors run through the open-plan interior, which has modern heating, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer-dryer, and comfortable sofas arranged around a large television. One bedroom has a wet room with shower and grab rail; the other has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and furniture overlooks the fields beyond. You have private parking for three cars and a bike store. The property sits on mixed working farmland with access to shared country estate footpaths through woodland, making it genuinely useful for walking. Ludlow is four miles away; Worcester, Bewdley and Shrewsbury are all within straightforward driving distance. No smoking indoors. A cot and highchair are available if needed, and the single-storey layout with level access suits those with mobility considerations.

Our second stay at the cowshed. What a fantastic place. Brian and Gill are so warm and welcoming . Beautifully furnished and everything you would need ( including tongs 😂 ). Very comfortable bed offering a good nights sleep. The views well what can we say . Spectacular. Overlooking Ludlow, in the distance you can make out the church and castle. Lovely location for venturing out into Shropshire and beyond. Highly recommend

Just realised we hadn't left a review. Only discovered this cottage a couple of years ago. Currently on our third stay. Just tremendous. Brian and Gill perfect hosts, property truly immaculate. Easily our favourite place to stay in the UK. Yes, if you are looking for peace and tranquillity in the perfect English rural location, then you've just found it. Enjoy.
