Lovely place to set up camp and I really recommend as a base for walks around the area such as carding mill valley, The Wrekin, Shrewsbury quarry and much more. The owners could not be more helpful and chill. Some beautiful yellow fields this time of year on the drive to the campsite also which makes for such beautiful photos. We paid extra for a more secluded section facing the waterway, it was the most perfect backdrop for the first major hot day of the year, and how lucky with me visiting my family this Saturday gone to make it so memorable. There is solar lights all around the trees which makes this an extra due care to attention to those staying and was truly so peaceful and gorgeous in the evening whilst having an off the floor fire going! 🌄 dogs allowed, and there is a dog walk available. Shower and cabin toilets we’re a quirky touch and I really liked it here, only comment I would say is behind walking towards cabin which is near our pitch there was a fire pit access remains and lots of thorns, very dangerous..but as I think we found out as we tried to re book we think this camping site might be shutting down in may onwards, we are truly gutted, and was hoping to re book for June, the house the camp site is on is up for sale, we think owners are moving to the house just down the road behind that house facing the river. It is truly a shame we didn’t find this gem a long time ago. I really thank you for our stay and just know you had something so memorable to those who booked with you! With thanks, Jasmine & David!🍄🥂🏕️🩵💛

Wow wow wow is all I can say , we had the most incredible overnight stay in the Belle tent , surrounded by the most stunning scenery at the Wrekin View Retreat. This is a real gem of a find , not your typical camp site it’s unique quirky and Sooooo Peaceful , it’s also dog friendly and adult only !! We are 100000% returning here , We had the most beautiful sunset last night & and woke to a perfect sunrise for our wedding anniversary . 😍📸🏕️ Kate & her mum were the most perfect hosts everything was catered for and nothing was too much trouble , we met some lovely Guests and lots of Gorgous pooches ( Especially Connie 🐶💞) We are already looking at our calander to Book another stay , certainly Highly recommend the Belle tent it was perfect 🏕️💕. 😍 Than you so much . 📸🐶💓🌳☺️

Just an amazing place to stay, perfect little pitch totally private and so peaceful. Gorgeous views over the River Tern. The facilities are quirky and fun as well as being lovely and clean. Adults only, super dog friendly, and the owner Kate is very friendly and helpful. Fires and BBQs allowed, you can hire a fire pit and have it and a barrow full of logs delivered to your pitch! Decent shop a couple of miles away and a bigger retail park about 15mins drive if needed. Highly recommend a visit here if you love old school camping.

Great campsite for people looking for a peaceful retreat. The site has limited facilities but has EHU, fresh water, washing up facilities, WiFi, toilet and quirky shower. No Elsan. Fantastic views of the Wrekin, the River Tern and surrounding countryside. Kate is very helpful and took the time to explain how everything works.
