About Southview Leisure Park
Wahey, it's Skeggy! If you're fond of Lincolnshire's seaside capital, this family holiday park makes a sensible base – just a couple of miles from Skegness with thoroughly modern facilities and plenty to keep everyone occupied. Pack the kids off to the Starland Krew club while you explore two fishing lakes, a nine-hole golf course, indoor pool, sauna and spa, or simply wander the acres of landscaped parkland with a book in hand.
Evening entertainment ranges from cabaret to tribute acts at the Lakeside Showbar, though some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch tired in places. For a quieter vibe, the Boathouse bar and restaurant serves cocktails and meals, or grab classic seaside fish and chips from the on-site takeaway. Choose between electric hardstanding pitches or fully-serviced options – just note the latter don't allow awnings. Dogs welcome year-round.

What visitors say
First time here and ive got to say I was a bit hesitant reading some the the reviews but I shouldn't have been! We went for the bronze caravan and yes it was a bit small but it's the cheapest option and we got a long fine with it. The staff were superb and there are lots of things to do for the kids. Would recommend! I think people need to realize this is a kid friendly caravan site, if your looking for piece and quiet with nothing to do but read your book then might be worth going somewhere else.

It was a lovely location & logde apart from ants in one bedroom & bath room. Reported it, but couldn't get rid of them for sum reason. Just a good job we were not using the bed they were crawling on. And the fish & chips were crap....... ice cream was lovely, which we had at night from the stall. You must try some. Apart from that the camp is a good place for a rest or really good for the kids. I will be back some time in the future. Thank you parkdean.

Where do I begin..... We booked the gold premium caravan with premium interior. Well I can safely say this wasn't the case. Upon arriving you check in and it is pretty speedy, given the number for any issues then head off to the caravan. We stayed in Vintage 74 (should of known from this name it was going to be awful) Getting into the caravan with the decking steps we see straight away used chewing gum on the steps, clearly hasn't been noticed or cleaned. Even the decking was shockingly dirty. When we finally get through the door which is bent the caravan is clearly not a premium interior. Looks old and shabby with curtain rails fallen off the walls and outdated cupboards and sofa. We didn't take this to heart and unpacked which i now regret. Upon getting everything out we enter the shower room and see a build up of soap scum left behind by the previous tenants. Contacted the front desk about these issues though their very simple texting service which they ask "do you want me to help with this?" Obviously we needed help with this... Then over the next few days we use some of the utensils which are damaged and then decided to use the sofa bed as the rooms was extremely hot. Then we find rubbish left behind and used tissues. From stains in the bedrooms on the walls to broken slates in the beds and a drawer in the kitchen which picked when it wanted to open. Speaking with the team on front desk all we got was we can try and help, but nothing ever amounted to anything. When you're spending over £1000 for a week to be living in such conditions is shocking. Park dean Southview you have let us down so badly, even the staff wasn't helpful. If you're planning on booking here I'd say book the bronze or silver caravan, gold isn't worth it and you'll be treated like an idiot.

We did a Monday to Friday trip with the dog and I will say it is One of the more beautiful holiday parks we’ve ever been to. We stayed in a three bedroom Platinum “dog Friendly” Van with decking the reason why I say dog friendly like that is because the decking didn’t have a gate on it which wasn’t a huge problem we just used the table provided as a gate. Food at the boathouse was very nice. The sheer bar that evening entertainment is really really good. The food delivery that is provided to the caravan was really efficient. Navigating the park was easy. The park is kept very very clean and we will return 100%.
