About The Coachman Caravan Park
The Coachman Caravan Park sits just outside Scarborough near Snainton, offering both electric hardstanding and grass pitches for those touring the North Yorkshire coast and moors. It's an adults-only site with the essentials covered—showers, toilets, drinking water, and electric hookups—plus pets are welcome and you can fire up the barbecue. There's an on-site bar or restaurant for those evenings when you'd rather not cook.
With pitches from around £35 a night, it makes a straightforward, no-frills base for exploring the region. Note there's no WiFi or chemical disposal on site, so plan accordingly. A solid, unpretentious spot if you want somewhere practical to return to after days out on the coast or in the countryside.

What visitors say
We booked through Pitch up and did not check reviews. We arrived and finally got somon on the phone who said pitch anywhere. Only one campervan on site who sadly had dog not on a lead despite the indepth board at the entrance about dogs. They left next day so on our own. Grass needed cutting. Huge pile of black bags rubbish outside the 2 toilet/ showers. No cleaning equipment in toilets to clean up after yourselves. The 2 electric hook ups 8 and 9 did not work. Our excellent extender aerial did not work, high hedges all around. It wasn't till we looked at reviews after a couple of days we saw someone put about aerial socket, which did work. This site with a little care could be beautiful. Certainly not worth £35 a night. So sad as its well placed for lovely areas

Booked last minute and got a spot, no one told us which pitch, ended up just picking a random pitch. The electric wasn’t working and tried to contact owner who never replied. Couldn’t blow up my air bed to sleep on, or even charge phone dot use kettle which then wasn’t able to make tea when arrived. Called owner multiple times with no reply. Only one bathroom working as other one was dark as light not working. Bins was overflowing, and grass left in bags stinking.

We arrived and only one shower and toilet was functioning. The bathrooms were filthy with no toilet paper. The grass was not mowed and was boggy. No electricity at the sites as they were broken. Had to go purchase an extension cord to get power. The waste discharge area was disgusting and full of mould. Not a nice experience.
