About Premier Inn Solihull Town Centre
Solihull's town centre is built around shopping and easy transport links, and Premier Inn Solihull Town Centre sits right in the middle of it on Station Road, close to Touchwood Shopping Centre. It's a practical base for anyone visiting for retail, business or simply passing through the West Midlands.
The hotel has 115 rooms across five floors, each with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom, and there are accessible rooms available. Rooms are kept comfortable and quiet, which makes this a reliable choice for a proper night's rest in a busy town centre setting. There's a restaurant and bar on site along with breakfast service, though some visitors have found the food underwhelming, so those wanting a wider choice may prefer to explore the pubs, restaurants and eateries nearby instead.
Practical extras include 24 hour reception, drinks in the room, an electric vehicle charge point, and a lift for guests who'd rather avoid the stairs. Parking is available on-site for a charge, using the Lode Lane Multi-storey Car Park next door on Lode Lane, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. With shops, entertainment and dining all within easy reach, it works well as a straightforward stopover in Solihull.
What guests say
recently stayed at Premier Inn Solihull Town Centre for two weeks, and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Staying somewhere for that length of time can sometimes feel tiring, but the hotel made it feel comfortable and stress-free throughout. The room was always clean, tidy, and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep every night. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and everything I needed was always available. The hotel itself is in a great location, close to shops and local amenities, which made my stay even more convenient. What truly made the difference, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and welcoming. They always greeted me with a smile and were happy to help with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made me feel valued as a guest, especially during a longer stay. Overall, I was extremely happy with everything, and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Great location, great staff. A big shout out to Aaron & Chunk for great service and amending and adding things to the menu at night for us. We are at this hotel for 4 weeks and they make us really welcome. Also, Jenny in the morning. She is a breath of fresh air! Thanks again everyone. Clare & Beth!

Two rooms booked £142 each room. Compared to other premier inns inside was quite tired. Over priced I feel to stay here. Although close to NEC. For breakfast they ran out of eggs I don’t know why someone didn’t buy some from Tesco 2 minutes away. I did suggest this they said no one was allowed to leave. Breakfast was ok. Plymouth’s branch is much better quality. I wasn’t overwhelmed with service as a whole. A very average stay. And what’s an English breakfast without eggs.

Great as a base for access to the NEC and local Solihull/Birmingham events, but avoid the restaurant at all costs. The hotel is in a great location with so many delicious and highly-rated restaurants and bars a stone's throw away. I hate to complain, especially publicly, but the horrendous experience we had needs to be noted as a warning for other potential travellers. Waiting a good 20-25 minutes before having to ask for menus, warm beer, being spoken to like we're an inconvenience, lukewarm microwaved food, and incorrect food being handed back to us after spending 10+ mins back in the kitchen... learn from our mistake. Save yourself the hassle (and risk of food poisoning!) and eat elsewhere. Literally anywhere else.
