Not at all what we expected. We arrived at 5pm and whilst the lady on reception tried her best to be helpful, there was nobody available to show us to the pitch! The pitches aren't numbered so it was a bit potluck. We had a disabled pitch and we were just left to find it ourselves. There are very few staff on site to help you and when you do see them they're just standing around chatting or in the bar. All help stops after 5pm, everyone goes home. Don't bother to pay the £20 for the Internet, there is none! It drops out all the time. It's a rip off. The other thing you don't get told is 50p charge for the showers! It's a huge site with mainly seasonal pitches, people who go there all the time, they treat it like their own village. 10 mph on the site roads and the staff whizz round it all the time at breakneck speed. Young people vaping in the shower block and leaving rubbish. The pot washing area is a disgusting mess...no-one cleans up after themselves. The sinks get full of bbq meat and food! The barrier is no longer registration number recognition it was turned off. We had to wait while it was checked then we were zapped in or out. One time we had the pleasure of a large surly Welsh security guard came to our car and asked for our identity sheet ...not a smile or any pleasantries, just a sour gruff attitude! They say there is a restaurant on site...there isn't! It's an overpriced fish and chips bar. 1 x cod and chips 1 x chicken and chips with peas £27!!! Happy for all the people that like it...we won't be back!

Stayed at Northam Farm Caravan & Camping Park and honestly it’s one of the best family-friendly campsites we’ve stayed on. The washroom facilities were excellent and kept very clean throughout our stay. There are play parks dotted all around the site which is brilliant for children, and the whole campsite has a safe, relaxed atmosphere. The campsite has two free fishing lakes — one small and one larger lake. We used method feeders and had some great sessions, although for younger children float fishing would probably work even better. One of the biggest positives is the location. It’s peaceful and slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the very busy holiday parks, but still close enough to everything you need. It’s only around a 6-minute walk to The Seagull Inn which has a restaurant serving weekend carveries and plenty of food choices during the week, plus a bar and entertainment room. On the main campsite itself there’s also a small undercover entertainment area, a fully equipped bar, chip shop, fantastic reception area with camping shop attached, and a Premier convenience store for essentials. Wi-Fi is available on site for an additional charge. For dog owners, the dog walking path around the entire campsite is fantastic and could easily double up as a running track too. The pitches are very affordable with both electric and non-electric options available. Another huge bonus is the beach running alongside the campsite for miles. When the tide is out the sand becomes firm and very easy to walk on, and we even noticed an area where people can park directly on the beach for around £8.50 per day. Overall, a brilliant campsite for families, fishing, dogs, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors without the chaos of the bigger holiday parks.

We love northam farm and visit regularly. Its a Lovely site and a lovely location. We went a couple of weeks ago and it was our first of the year 2026. We have always loved the chippy for a treat but this time we were very disappointed unfortunately. The portion sizes were great previously but this year they are no where near as good value. The large cod which I have to say last year was large has basically been halved or less in size its more mini fish now but they are charging more than last year. The chip portions also are now very small. We Will have to go a little further into brean next time for our treat. Apart from this I highly recommend northam farm and brean
