Christmas Cottage suits families with children aged 12 and over, or groups of up to five looking for a self-contained base near Cheddar. The maisonette spans two floors: ground level holds the kitchen and living areas, with bedrooms upstairs. You have the whole property to yourself, with a back garden and parking nearby in the public car park.
The kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, and washing machine included. The living room has a wood burner (available November to March), a Smart TV, and window seats looking towards the river. Three bedrooms sleep five: a king, a three-quarter double, and a single. There is one bathroom with a shower cubicle and bath. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; initial fuel for the wood burner is included during winter months. One small dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead in the garden and elsewhere.
The property dates from the 1800s and sits built into Cheddar Gorge, accessed via metal side gate and steep stairs. A pub is within a mile. The cottage does not allow smoking, and children under 12 cannot stay.
