What visitors say
Fantastic experience, the place is so modern and well maintained and everyone is keeping it nice and tidy. If you want a quiet retreat where there's no screaming or running kids around and you want to fave very good facilities, that's the place to go to. And the stuff to do around it, so much ! Been there for three days and I still had a lot of attractions that I was unable to cover. Totally recommend.

Arrived on a hot sunny Fri, met by friendly helpful staff. We were able to choose our own pitch. Adults only site within walking distance of Cheddar. Site was very well maintained & clean. A must is a stroll to Cheddar Brewery (check opening times). One minor point, it would be helpful to have somewhere in the shower to hold toiletries when showering (only floor or windowsill). Weather made our stay even better. A return visit is a must.

Our second time at Cheddar Bridge and we will definitely come back. This is a very well kept site with immaculate toilet/shower facilities. The management are very friendly and make you welcome upon arrival. The lawns are mowed regularly and there are lots of bunnies in the tent field roaming freely. The location has a walkable Tesco express and a Sainsbury’s with Cheddar itself about 20 minute average walk. There is great dog walk out the gate with a river that runs along one edge of the site. On a Sunday the church bells ring around 9am which is rather quaint.

Wonderful campsite. Beautifully kept. We stayed for two nights in our campervan. Really friendly hosts, lovely clean facilities, shower brilliant with plentiful hot water and dish washing area the same. 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Cheddar which has lots of nice pubs and restaurants. Also handy location from which to do the Gorge walk. Ask the host for the route to take to avoid the charge for Jacob’s Ladder.
