Horner

The Somerset coast draws families and couples year-round, and Horner is positioned within Duddings Country Cottages, a site built around shared leisure facilities. The one-bedroom apartment sits on the first floor of The South Barn, accessed by external steps that lead to a gated balcony overlooking the Avill Valley. Inside is an open-plan living and dining space, a equipped kitchen, bedroom with a double bed, and shower room. Everything is on one level and self-contained.

Guests have use of an indoor heated swimming pool measuring 11 metres by 5 metres with a Jacuzzi section, a games room with table tennis, pool table and table football, and a tennis court. There is also a children's play area and a large car park where you can unload before parking. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. The property does not permit smoking.

The location suits families wanting more than a quiet retreat—the on-site facilities mean there is activity available daily, whatever the weather. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. One pet is welcome.
