Mendip Lodge
Somerset
Mendip Lodge is a detached property sleeping four in the Somerset countryside, with everything on the ground floor. The open-plan living space and kitchen have a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave; one bedroom has a king bed, the other two zip-and-link singles (configurable as a super king on request); the shower room is compact. Essentials including wi-fi, bed linen, towels and heating are covered. There is parking for one car on site, plus an electric charging point if you need it. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. You have your own entrance and a terrace overlooking a back garden you share with the owner.
The lodge sits between Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves, both close enough for an afternoon trip, and the Mendip Hills rise nearby for walking and cycling. Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor are accessible for a day out, as are Bath and Bristol if you want something larger. The countryside around here suits dog owners particularly well. Smoking is not permitted inside.
