Families and larger groups will find Number 6 Quantock Lodge well suited to a shared getaway. The detached property sits on extensive grounds near Cricket House in Somerset countryside, with room enough for eight guests across three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite; downstairs, an open-plan living area with cathedral windows opens onto a garden where the private hot tub awaits. A second sitting room with sofa bed gives younger members somewhere to retreat.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included. The property comes with private parking for one car, and there's visitor parking available. An indoor heated pool is shared with other properties on the estate and open between 7am and 7pm—useful on rainy days. The grounds themselves are shared, so it's not entirely secluded, though the hot tub is private to the lodge. No smoking is permitted indoors.

You arrive after 3pm and depart by 10am. A highchair is provided for younger children. The surrounding 1000-acre estate offers countryside without being isolated; coastal views are visible from the house.
