You step straight into the heart of Stables End—a converted barn with an open-plan ground floor where the living space, kitchen and dining area flow together under one roof. A wood burner anchors the sitting area, facing a 42-inch screen. Upstairs, a double bedroom and shower room complete the layout. The property sleeps two and comes with Wi-Fi, parking for one car, a lawned garden with patio, and a bike store. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
Watchet itself—a working coastal town with a harbour, independent shops and restaurants—is under ten minutes away by car. The West Somerset Steam Train runs from the station for those wanting a slower way through the countryside. Medieval Dunster and its castle are nearby, as are the beaches at Blue Anchor, Dunster, Minehead and Porlock. Exmoor National Park wraps around the area; Devon and Cornwall are within reach for day trips. The property adjoins the owners' home, and smoking is not permitted.
