Stepen Cottage is a two-storey building constructed in warm hamstone, situated on the border between Somerset and Devon. The ground floor contains an open-plan living space with French doors onto the garden, where a gravelled sitting-out area with garden furniture and a barbecue awaits. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven and gas hob; there's also a shower room. Upstairs, a second bedroom with a kingsize bed completes the layout. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms and one bathroom.

You get the essentials covered: bed linen, towels, heating, and wifi are all included. There's private parking for two cars on site. One dog or cat is welcome. A pub lies within a mile's walk. From here, the Jurassic Coast is within driving distance, and the region holds plenty of other draw: Yeovilton's Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Haynes Motor Museum, Forde Abbey, Montacute House, and Clarks Village at Street are all accessible. Lyme Regis, with its harbour and beach, sits to the south; Seaton's tram railway, the donkey sanctuary at Sidmouth, and the villages of Beer and Branscombe are close by. No smoking is permitted inside.
