About Manor Farm
So you want to get away from it all for a few days? Here's your chance. Manor Farm offers a single wild-camping pitch tucked into a peaceful woodland glade near Crewkerne, where the only soundtrack is birdsong, a burbling stream, and the occasional moo from surrounding fields. No fellow campers, no electricity, no shower – just you, nature, and a massive firepit for boiling kettles and grilling supper under the stars.
Access is straightforward: dedicated parking and a short walk to the cleared, chipped pitch. Facilities are deliberately basic – a toilet shack and mains water tap – so this won't suit everyone. But for those craving proper solitude, it's perfect. Follow the footpaths five minutes to the mellow-stone village of Merriott for supplies, a lively café in a converted chapel, or the local pub. Dogs welcome, campfires encouraged, civilization optional.
