Swift Cottage

Chilton Polden is surrounded by Somerset's nature reserves and open moorland, making it ideal for anyone who wants countryside on the doorstep. Swift Cottage sits in this village setting with direct access to walking routes, fishing spots and bird-watching areas. The house itself is a four-bedroom property sleeping five, with a double and three singles upstairs, a bathroom with bath and separate shower, and ground-floor living spaces arranged around a well-equipped kitchen where you can cook properly. There's a utility room, downstairs toilet, and a living room with an open fire for cooler evenings.

The garden is fully enclosed with a lawned area, patio and a covered barbecue space, plus table tennis and an exercise bike if you want to stay active. Private parking fits three cars. One dog is welcome to stay free, though they're kept downstairs using a stairgate if needed. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, and the cottage comes with a welcome pack plus a highchair and stairgates for families with small children. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
