The Stable

Couples and solo travellers will find The Stable works well as a compact base in rural Somerset. The single bedroom holds a double bed; the bathroom is en-suite. Living space is open-plan, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking and a sitting area with Smart TV. Everything needed for a stay—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—is included, and one dog or cat can come along at no extra cost. A welcome pack arrives with you.

Outside, a courtyard has seating and a barbecue. Parking for one car is on site. The village of Brent Knoll has a pub within walking distance. Burnham on Sea, about 3 miles away, has a beach, shops and restaurants. Bath's Georgian centre and Roman heritage lie further afield, as does Cheddar Gorge. No smoking inside.
