The Stables

The Stables is a converted ground-floor property on Winchester Farm near Cheddar, sleeping ten across four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Every room has French doors opening onto a private terrace, and the main bedroom features a freestanding roll-top bath. Three bedrooms have super king beds; one has a zip-and-link that splits into singles if needed. The living spaces flow across one level—a sitting room with woodburner, and a kitchen-dining area large enough for the whole group to gather. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a dishwasher, electric range, and everything else for self-catering. Underfloor heating runs throughout, alongside wi-fi and bed linen included in your stay. There's parking for five cars and a garden with seating. The location puts you within reach of Cheddar Gorge and caves (just over a mile away), the Mendip Hills for walking, and the cathedral city of Wells about five miles off. Glastonbury, Bath and Bristol are all accessible for day trips. No smoking inside the property.
