Triscombe Farm Country Cottages - Orchard Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had originally booked a different cottage, but due to the recent heatwave and the layout of the building, we were kindly offered a free upgrade to the Stream Cottage — which turned out to be perfect. It stayed much cooler and was a beautiful place to stay. The cottage was peaceful and surrounded by nature, with the calming sounds of wildlife all around. It was the ideal setting to relax and unwind. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts, including a complimentary bottle of Thatchers Triscombe Honey, which was delicious, along with some other lovely treats. Ruth was an excellent host, as was Becky — both were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was exactly what we needed during the hot weather, and the games room provided great entertainment in the evenings with pool and table tennis. Overall, it had everything we could have wished for. Thank you for an amazing week.

A beautiful, quiet countryside location with holiday cottages converted from renovated farm buildings. "Bracken cottage" is just perfect for 2 people, a decent sized accomodation with a great view from the bench outside the front door. The on-site pool was a bonus in the heatwave. Run by very friendly people. Thank-you for a great week.

If you value peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings then Triscombe Farm set in the heart of Exmoor is perfect. A cluster of rural retreats and a heated indoor swimming pool surrounded by lovely gardens set on the slopes of a valley near Wheddon Cross.

Very lovely cottage, everything was fab, even had some cider on the kitchen table, plenty to see and do, swimming pool was great fun for everyone. Only one bad point, can get a little chilly & the electric for the heaters is paid at the end of your stay. Other than that, we had a great time. Thankyou.
