Viaduct Fisheries - Willow

Photo: Viaduct Fishery

Viaduct Fisheries – Willow is one of four lodges arranged around six lakes on natural grounds. It suits families and groups of up to six, with three bedrooms (each containing two single beds) and two bathrooms. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with a 40-inch TV, a kitchen equipped for real cooking, and direct access to a lawned garden with patio furniture. Parking for three cars is provided on site. The essentials – heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi – are all included.

The property sits in Somerton, a small town where pubs and shops are within reach on foot. Street, with its outlet shopping, lies ten minutes' drive away, and Glastonbury is twenty minutes further. Six unfenced lakes occupy the grounds; fishing is available to guests, and the setting itself draws those wanting a genuinely quiet break without sacrificing comfort. The lodges are furnished in log cabin style with gas central heating and double glazing. No smoking is permitted indoors. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.

Wow, what an absolute gem to find. Suitable for my son to fish, me to work a bit and then relax in the hot tub. The cabin was immaculate, beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfy - the best I've ever experienced with Air BnB! The hot tub was spotless and in great condition; the grounds are simply a little treasure tucked in the peaceful countryside - you can tell everything is so well maintained. Helen and Steve were so helpful and really took care of us - it was like being with family. Then you have Sally and Ed who are amazing and their hard work did not go unnoticed - thank you! We could not have asked for a more peaceful little break. Over 3 days my son caught 24 fish, totalling 208lbs... he was delighted - and exhausted! We will definitely be back - how could we not!
