Appletree Lodge

Appletree Lodge is a contemporary build designed for comfort and seclusion. Everything sits on the ground floor: two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed and ensuite, one with two singles), a second shower room, and an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped for cooking, dining, and relaxing. The property is yours alone, with parking for four cars and WiFi throughout. Heating, bed linen, towels and logs for the firepit are provided.

Outside is where the lodge distinguishes itself. A private four-person hot tub occupies an L-shaped composite deck with far-reaching views across to the Isle of Arran and the Kyles of Bute—the sunsets over Goat Fell are the real draw here. A viewing platform, garden furniture, BBQ and firepit with seating occupy the landscaped grounds; the front garden has artificial lawn and a sitting area. Storage for bicycles and a shed complete the setup.

The location sits near the Ayrshire coastal path, within striking distance of Turnberry and other championship golf courses (Old Prestwick is 4 miles away, Royal Troon 6 miles), and close to Burns Country—his cottage and the Old Brig o'Doon are 2 miles off. The harbour villages of Dunure and Maidens lie a few miles along the coast, and Culzean Castle is reachable by car. The local supermarket and takeaways are under a mile away. No smoking inside.
