Miners Cottage
South Ayrshire
Girvan is a working coastal town on Scotland's southwest shore, where the beach stretches wide and sandy beneath views across to Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs through here—over 100 miles of walking along cliffs and beaches, with red squirrels, seals and otters in the scrub behind. Miners Cottage sits just minutes' walk from the seafront and town shops, in a quiet terraced row with an enclosed garden at the back.
Inside, the ground floor is open plan: a living area with smart TV, dining space and a kitchen equipped for real cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge. Two single beds are in bedroom one, along with a shower room. Upstairs, bedroom two has a kingsize bed. The cottage sleeps four. One well-behaved pet stays free. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are covered; heating is underfloor electric throughout most rooms. The back garden has a patio and sitting furniture. Parking is on road.
The town itself has a leisure centre with pool and golf course. Boat trips leave from Girvan harbour for Ailsa Craig or fishing expeditions. Train connections reach Ayr and Glasgow for a day away. No smoking inside.
