About Glenapp Castle
Glenapp Castle suits travellers after a slower, indulgent break rather than a quick overnight stop - couples marking an occasion, wedding parties, or anyone keen to combine golf at nearby Trump Turnberry with proper downtime in South Ayrshire. The castle setting, with its gardens, picnic area and outdoor seating, gives the whole stay an unhurried, occasion-worthy feel.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and room service, and there's a bridal suite and VIP facilities for those celebrating something special. Families are catered for too, with family rooms, kids' meals and childcare available, while accessible rooms and a lift mean the castle works for guests with mobility needs. The restaurant handles breakfast and packed lunches as well as evening dining, and there's a spa and sauna on site for guests who'd rather not leave the grounds at all.
Beyond the castle, the area offers fishing, horse riding, cycling and walking, plus nearby pubs and restaurants for those who want to venture out. Stranraer Harbour lies within reach for onward travel, and free on-site parking, an EV charge point and pet-friendly rooms round out a stay built for comfort rather than convenience alone.
