The Coach House

The Coach House is a detached cottage on the Bargany Estate, a private 500-acre property where woodland and river walks meet coastal Ayrshire. Girvan harbour town is close by, with its beach, shops, restaurants and boat trips; further afield lie golf courses, cycling routes and a string of villages along the shoreline. The cottage itself is thoroughly fitted out for self-catering: a full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, an oil-heated living room with television and DVD player, and all the essentials—linen, towels and wifi—provided.

Upstairs there is a bedroom with a kingsize bed; downstairs, a second bedroom with zip-and-link singles that can be pushed together, plus a bathroom with shower over the bath. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has decking, seating and a barbecue. Parking for three cars is on site. The estate itself offers 80 acres of natural woodland to explore; there is a pond on the grounds which is unfenced. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The cottage does not permit smoking. Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
