Valley Pods

Valley Pods is a contemporary barn conversion completed to Passivhaus eco standards, designed by award-winning architects and built into 7 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow. The building's exposed timber beams and light interior contrast with its high-performance shell, which keeps the space warm in winter and cool in summer. Large windows frame countryside views across the property, where you might see hares, deer, badgers or red kites moving through the private grounds.

The conversion sleeps 4 across a master bedroom with king-size bed and a twin room, both fitted with quality mattresses and blackout-lined curtains. A single bathroom includes a bath and walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering—oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer and fridge are all here—with space for four to eat. The sitting area has a velvet sofa and armchair facing the television, and doors open onto a sandstone patio with rattan seating; a firepit and grill sit beyond. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking inside the property.

Balsham village and its pub lie within a mile. Nearby attractions include Linton Zoo, IWM Duxford, Anglesey Abbey and Audley End House, all within 30 minutes' drive, along with Cambridge and Newmarket. The woodland is yours to explore throughout the year.
