On the fringe of the National Forest with footpaths through the surrounding countryside, Repton Cottage sits within reach of a pub and shop a mile away. St Saviour's Church at Foremark stands nearby, and the Grade I listed Foremark Hall itself—a Georgian-Palladian house—overlooks the grounds. The cottage dates from 1752 and retains period character: exposed timber, original features and a woodburning stove in the living room.
Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a king bed and an ensuite shower room, the other with two single beds. Downstairs, the kitchen has what you need for self-catering, and there's a sitting room with a wood burner. A lawned garden and courtyard are shared with the other properties on site; a sitting-out area with furniture and a barbecue are yours to use. Two parking spaces come with the cottage. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and initial logs for the stove are included. The property is non-smoking.

I can not recommend Foremark Weddings & Cottages highly enough. We were lucky enough to celebrate a family wedding here at the end of May. Everything was perfect especially the owners and staff who could not do more to ensure that the wedding ran smoothly and that all of the guests were looked after. The venue and grounds including the church are stunning. Our family stayed in the barn which was absolutely beautiful and immaculately presented. Thank you to everyone involved for making sure we had a weekend to remember.

I booked this venue for a weekend of celebrating my 40th birthday. From the gorgeous cottages themselves to the stunning function room and the incredible service from Greg and his team, the whole experience was magical and surpassed my expectations from start to finish. Each cottage comes with en suite bedrooms, offering privacy and comfort for all guests, with the mezzanine dining area creating a communal feel, bringing everybody together for special family moments. Greg went above and beyond to make this a truly memorable occasion, and I cannot recommend Foremark Cottages enough.

This place is beautiful! I stayed for a week as was down this way worked and have booked again already for when I'm next down. Elaine Greg and Claire are such great people and have created such a wonderful places. Nothing needs changing or updating, that places is incredible.

Terrible driveway full of potholes. Steep slope down to venue from parking lot. One member of staff on the bar, two toilets located outside in separate building, across lawn. Accessibility all but forgotten unfortunately. Very rural setting which is beautiful, but would not recommend if you have any physical disabilities.
