Commonwealth Cottage

South Gloucestershire sits within striking distance of several major draws: Bath's Georgian architecture and Roman heritage lie to the south, the Cotswolds roll to the north, and the Forest of Dean spreads to the west. Commonwealth Cottage is a detached property on the owners' grounds, providing a self-contained base for exploring any or all of them. Pubs are roughly a mile and a half away; shops about two miles.

The cottage spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a living room with Freeview television, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. There is a separate toilet. Upstairs, a bedroom with zip-and-link single beds (which can be pushed together as a double) and a bathroom with bath and shower over. Wi-Fi is available. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. One dog is welcome. The property has its own parking for two cars and a garden with furniture. Please note that the stairs are steep, narrow and spiral in places. Smoking is not permitted inside.
