Anchor Cottages - Pirates Cove

Anchor Cottages - Pirates Cove is a traditional cottage within walking distance of Hope Cove's beach, positioned to make the most of the South Hams' seafront location. The building sits among the village's thatched properties and local amenities—shops, inns and restaurants are all nearby—with wooded cliffs at Bolt Tail rising behind the cove itself.

Three bedrooms sleep seven: a double and two single rooms on the ground floor, plus a single upstairs, alongside a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, the living and dining room has a sofa bed and Freeview TV, while the kitchen opens onto a patio and back garden with furniture. You get bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included, plus parking for one car on site. One small dog is welcome here. The cottage does not permit smoking.

The beach is ideal for swimming and water sports; a slipway for dinghies is 200 yards away, and larger boats are based at nearby Salcombe. The South Devon coastal path runs along the cliffs through Hope Cove, heading towards Thurlestone to the west (2 miles by path or car, with its own beach and clifftop golf course) and Salcombe to the east (4 miles away, a major sailing centre with extensive beaches and independent shops).
