Walking through the door of Sea Haven puts you moments from sand and sea. This five-bedroom cottage spreads across two floors, with four bedrooms downstairs (three with pairs of single beds, one with a single) and a fifth upstairs—a double with its own ensuite. Two further bathrooms serve the ground floor. The layout means families can spread out, and there's a travel cot and highchair if needed. Bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

Downstairs, the kitchen opens onto the garden through patio doors and has everything for self-catering: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The living and dining room has a Freeview television and electric fire. Central heating and electricity are metered. The back garden has a patio with furniture. One small dog is welcome. Parking for a single car is on site, and no smoking is permitted inside.

Hope Cove itself is a working village with a shop, inns and restaurants within walking distance. The South Devon coastal path runs through here, linking Salcombe (four miles away, a major sailing centre) with Thurlestone two miles west. The beach is genuinely close—launching facilities for dinghies are 200 yards away, and larger boats use Salcombe harbour.
