Anchor Cottages - Westward Ho

Hope Cove's sandy beach is a hundred yards from Anchor Cottages, making it easy to swim, fish, or launch a dinghy from the slip nearby. The South Devon coastal footpath runs through the village and along the cliffs towards Salcombe (4 miles) and Thurlestone (2 miles), both within reach for a day trip. Salcombe is known for sailing and has shops and restaurants; Thurlestone offers a golf course and more beaches. The village itself has a handful of cafés, restaurants and a shop for basics.

The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a double, two singles, and one single. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen-dining-living space with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine; patio doors lead to a garden with furniture. Upstairs is simpler. Heating is electric, wi-fi is included, and there's parking for one car. A travel cot and highchair are available. One small dog may stay, kept on a lead.

No smoking is permitted in the cottage.
