Clarence House

Families and larger groups will find Clarence House works well for a Devon coast break. The four-bedroom townhouse spreads across three floors and sleeps eight, with a mix of single and zip-and-link beds plus a sofa bed and futon to accommodate different configurations. Three bathrooms and a separate toilet mean mornings are less of a scramble. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; the Rayburn in the kitchen-diner handles cooking and heating, and there's a dishwasher for afterwards.

The living spaces are split across two levels—a ground-floor lounge for evenings, and an upper sitting room with a TV—so guests can spread out. A rear terraced garden has a BBQ and table tennis table, useful for keeping children occupied or hosting a casual meal. The property sits close to Dartmouth town centre and Coronation Park; there's on-site parking for one car. The house does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 5pm and checkout before 9am.
