This Camping and Caravanning Club site occupies gently sloping grassland on the edge of Stoke Fleming, with distant coastal views and a calm, no-nonsense atmosphere that suits touring couples and families after a straightforward South Devon base. Formerly known as Deer Park, it takes tents, caravans and motorhomes on grass and hardstanding pitches, most with 16-amp hook-ups, and offers the usual club facilities: a well-maintained toilet block with family shower room, laundry, small shop for basics, motorhome service point and free Wi-Fi. There's a children's play area, and dogs are welcome on leads.
The real draw is the location. Blackpool Sands is close enough to walk to for an early swim, Stoke Fleming village—with its shop, pubs and handsome parish church—is a short stroll away, and Dartmouth itself is just three miles by car or a longer ramble along the coast path. It's a settled, unfussy site that does what it sets out to do well, though those seeking entertainment or luxury facilities will find it a little spartan.

Great location just a short bus ride from Dartmouth or a walk along the coastal path. Facilities are excellent with friendly knowledgeable staff. We had a terrific stay. Just wish there was a dog exercise area

We love this campsite, this was our 3rd visit. Super spot to relax and unwind. Good, clean, facilities. Bus stop outside, pub in village about 10-15 mins walk serves good local beers and excellent pizzas. Nice coastal walks too.

Lovely Campsite. Excellent facilities. More notification about the pizza van would have helped. Also, only 5 showers which meant there were queues. If you had less toilets and created washbasin cubicles, it wouldn't have been a problem.

Lovely friendly site with immaculate facilities. A good walk into Dartmouth and a longer uphill walk back. Good but sporadic bus service. Short walk into the village with a great pub.
