The shingle beach at Beesands is a short walk away, dog-friendly year-round and backed by Widdicombe Ley, a freshwater lake where birdwatchers spot herons and tufted ducks from a nearby hide. The area suits families wanting to explore the Start Bay shoreline, though the property is not suitable for children under 12 due to steep cliff drops within the grounds.
Cliff House has three bedrooms (two kings and one single day bed in the study), two bathrooms, and sleeps five. Downstairs, a living room with Freeview Smart TV and separate dining room open onto a back garden and private parking for three cars. The kitchen has electric cooking and full fridge facilities for self-catering. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are included; the house is heated by electric central heating. One dog is welcome. No smoking throughout.
