Island Yard

South Hams is village country, quiet valleys and rural charm, and Island Yard sits among that landscape near Moreleigh. The property is a substantial house built to handle large groups—six bedrooms in the main building plus a self-contained annexe with its own bedroom, kitchen and shower room, bringing the total to 13 beds. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.

Inside the main house you get five bathrooms, a games room with pool and table tennis, a cinema room, a woodburner lounge and an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms range from a super kingsize to singles and doubles across three floors. The annexe is its own small flat: bedroom with zip-and-link bed, kitchenette, shower and toilet. Everything from bed linen to Wi-Fi is covered. Two cots and two highchairs are available if needed.

Outside there is a hot tub for seven, a summerhouse, garden furniture and a gas barbecue. You can charge an electric vehicle, park six cars and store bicycles. The house suits multi-generational family stays or groups of friends looking for space to spread out. It's a no-smoking property, and you have the place entirely to yourselves from check-in (after 16:00) onwards.
