Ringrone 3 is a ground-floor apartment in a historic property overlooking the estuary at the mouth of the Salcombe inlet. The moment you enter, high ceilings and water-facing windows define the space. The living room is the heart of it—generously proportioned with views across to Prawle Point, a wood-burning stove, and a sofa bed that doubles as a sleeping spot. The dining room and fully equipped kitchen (electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer) sit alongside, making self-catering straightforward for larger groups.
Two separate bedrooms complete the layout: one with a king-size bed, the other with a single and two further singles, so there's flexibility for families or friends sharing. The single bathroom includes both a bath and shower. Doors from the hallway open onto a covered terrace overlooking the grounds, where you can sit and watch the water. An enclosed rear patio has a barbecue. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; there is parking for two cars on site. The grounds are shared with other apartments in the building, with mature gardens and lawns; note that there are low walls with drops, so worth knowing if you're visiting with young children.
South Sands beach—favoured by swimmers and watersports enthusiasts—lies within a quarter-mile walk. The South West Coast Path runs directly past, leading to Bolt Head and the subtropical gardens at Overbecks, both National Trust-owned. Salcombe town centre is roughly 2 miles away via the coast road, or reachable by a seasonal ferry service from the beach. The location is rural, accessed via country lanes rather than being within a village.
