What guests say
We have been to Tuckenhay mill twice now, and both times have been extremely pleasant. There is plenty to do, including two very nice swimming pools, which the children absolutely love. The cottage we stayed in was clean and well equipped also warm and cozy. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Such a beautiful place to be, to relax, to have fun and keep in the best memories. I holidayed here as a child in the early & mid 80s, and returning after 40+ years with a child of my own, I was delighted to find it has had subtle and minimal improvements. It is still a cosy, warm, comfortable and well facilitated location with everything you need to both chill out and keep the kids content! The cottages are comfortable, clean and very nicely put together with stunning views over hillsides and streams. The various swimming pools are sizeable and superbly well-kept. The sauna and steam rooms are a lovely addition, too. Suffice to say, we are already planning when we will return... and it won't be as long as 40 years from now!

Expensive but worth it. Location wise - no phone signal for the whole time we stayed. There is nothing nearby apart from a couple of puns - The Waterman Arms is worth it. Good for walks but hilly.

First time we have stayed at this hidden gem. Our cottage was clean, warm and very well equipped. The on site facilities are superb, the extensive grounds are beautiful and peaceful and the only possible improvement we can think of would be the addition of a bar and restaurant. On second thoughts they might change the whole character of the place. Lovely walks from our doorstep and lots of tourist attractions and lovely towns within a 30 minute drive.
