Woodlands Caravan and Camping

We stayed here in a glamping pod family of 6 definitely wasn't for us booked it for 5days we came on home on the 3rd morning very disappointed no WiFi through out stay the pod was very disappointing turned up to have quite a few flys in the room which we tried to get out as in the night time kept crawling on us one of the beds for the children which is a ikea type chair bed which was very uncomfortable children was constantly up in the night with bad backs , very small fridge I would say for two people max ,food prices and the local shop very expensive 2 half full bags £80 and eating at the restaurants very expensive had breakfast in the morning very small portions this place was definitely not for us the only good thing was the rides and parks there. would only go for a day out there not to stay very unhappy we had to come home early and lost out no refunds was aloud

From Chad and Lauren: It was a solid campsite in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and didn’t find it nearly as bad as some of the more negative reviews suggest. The hedges dividing the pitches work well and give each plot a decent amount of privacy. The facilities were cleaned daily, which was appreciated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The wardens had a nice laid-back attitude. The on-site food was reasonably priced compared to what we’ve seen at other places. Overall, we had a really good time and would happily come back. Definitely worth considering if you’re in the area.

As a family of 19, 8 adults and 11 children, from Leeds, we spent 5 nights here staying in the pods. We had a wonderful time. Everything clean and spacious. The park facilities are great and the kids loved it. A big shout out to the staff, who were brilliant, but a special big shout out to Sarah and her partner for making us feel so welcome. We will be back for sure. Loved every minute 😊 Hope we didn’t make too much noise 🤣

Have stayed here for 5 Halloween breaks in my caravan. What an amazing place for an out of season break. Kids (now teens) and adults alike love it. Spacious pitches, tidy site and friendly staff. Some may say the washroom facilities are a bit dated but they're always spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. Great little games room, bring change and table tennis set to make the most of it. Small but functional, enclosed dog walk area. And the best bit is free entry to Woodlands Family Theme Park if you stay for 2+ nights. I'll review separately.
