Tuckenhay Mill - Turbine Cottage

Tuckenhay Mill is a working mill complex near the South Hams coast, with Turbine Cottage as one of several holiday properties scattered across its grounds. The converted space sits beside a stream and shares access to extensive leisure facilities: an outdoor swimming pool (May to October), two heated indoor pools, tennis court, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms. The cottage itself sleeps eight across three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

Ground floor has an open-plan living area with a kitchen equipped for full self-catering, a dining space and a games room with snooker and table tennis. Upstairs are two bedrooms with three single beds each, and on the top floor a double bedroom. The property comes with bed linen, wi-fi, and a small garden beside the stream with a BBQ. Two cots and two highchairs are available. Laundry facilities are on site, accessible by slot meter. The grounds include children's play areas, a football field, and indoor play space with slides and games.

The setting works well for families wanting to combine holiday time with structured activities, or groups after somewhere that doesn't require much planning. The mill is set inland from the coast; the village of Tuckenhay itself is small and quiet. One dog is welcome. No smoking throughout the property and all facilities.
