Wheeldon Farm Cottages - Mad Nelly Cottage

South Hams sits between Dartmoor and the Devon coast, and Wheeldon Farm Cottages occupies 240 acres of this countryside, with Mad Nelly Cottage as one of four barn conversions arranged around a courtyard. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double with ensuite on the ground floor, a kingsize upstairs, and two singles. Two bathrooms serve the layout—a wet room off the main bedroom and a shower room on the first floor. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in your stay.

The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and Freeview TV, a dining room, and a kitchen fitted with an electric range, dishwasher and fridge-freezer; a door opens to the courtyard. Upstairs bedrooms are simply furnished. The cottage itself is non-smoking. One dog is welcome to stay with you.

Shared facilities across the farm include an indoor heated swimming pool (open year-round, bookable from 8am to 8pm), a fitness room with cross trainer and treadmill, and a games room with American pool table, table tennis and table football. The grounds contain footpaths and green lanes for walking or cycling, and there is parking for two cars on site. A stream runs through the land, and water comes from a bore hole rather than mains.
