Wheeldon Farm Cottages - Poppy stands within 240 acres of farmland in the South Hams, positioned between Dartmoor and the Devon coast. The landscape around it is threaded with footpaths and green lanes; this is serious walking and cycling country, with the farm itself offering direct access to the land. The cottage sits in a courtyard setting alongside other barn conversions, each independent but part of a working farm environment.

Poppy sleeps seven across three bedrooms: a double on the first floor with its own ensuite, a second double, and a third room with three single beds. Two bathrooms serve the property. The ground floor has a living and dining room with a woodburner, plus a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch—oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave included. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are all provided. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed, and logs for the fire can be sourced locally.

The farm offers a heated indoor swimming pool (open year-round, accessed via booking system), a games room with pool table and table tennis, and a fitness room. Parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property does not allow smoking. Families with young children should note there is a stream in the grounds; the farm also operates a junior cycling and motorbike academy.
