Distillers Cottage

A hot tub sits in the garden at Distillers Cottage, a converted farmhouse where you get the whole place to yourself on a working South Lanarkshire farm. The alpacas and donkeys that live here are friendly and will likely become part of your morning routine. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove, dining area and kitchen, then three bedrooms (one with a king bed, one double, one with bunks) and a shower room with a walk-in enclosure. The essentials are covered—electricity, heating fuel, bed linen, towels and wifi—plus a welcome pack and extras for any dog you bring along.

The grounds include a BBQ hut, firepit and garden furniture in the courtyard, so cooking and gathering outside becomes feasible even in changeable weather. The hot tub fits six. You have private parking for two cars. Smoking is not permitted inside. The cottage suits families, groups of friends or couples after a proper break, and the farm setting means you're away from town noise while still having everything you need for self-catering. A travel cot and highchair are available if you need them.
